1. Our Services

Nanny’s & Granny’s is a referral and placement service that connects families with independent childcare providers, including nannies and babysitters. All caregivers are screened according to our internal vetting process, which may include background checks, reference checks, and interviews.

Nanny’s & Granny’s does not employ caregivers. Families are solely responsible for selecting, hiring, supervising, compensating, and managing any caregiver they engage through our platform.

2. No Guarantee or Liability

While we make reasonable efforts to connect families with qualified and vetted caregivers, Nanny’s & Granny’s does not guarantee the performance, conduct, or suitability of any caregiver.

Nanny’s & Granny’s is not responsible or liable for any acts, omissions, injuries, losses, damages, or disputes that may occur during or after a placement. All childcare arrangements are entered into directly between the family and the caregiver, and Nanny’s & Granny’s is not a party to those agreements.

3. User Responsibilities

By using our website and services, you agree that you will:

  • Use the Site and services only for lawful and appropriate purposes
  • Not engage in any activity that is illegal, unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate
  • Provide accurate and truthful information when submitting inquiries or applications

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access to our Site if we believe these terms have been violated.

4. Payments and Refunds

All fees paid to Nanny’s & Granny’s are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Fees cover referral, screening, and administrative services only and do not guarantee a successful or permanent placement.

4.1 Manually Added Dates & Pre-Booked Hours

When a client requests or agrees to manually added dates and pre-books a specific number of childcare hours for those dates, those hours are considered earned upon booking.

All hours reserved for manually added dates are non-refundable, regardless of whether all scheduled hours are ultimately used, canceled, shortened, or otherwise unused by the client. This includes, but is not limited to, early returns, schedule changes, or personal circumstances.

Pre-booking hours secures caregiver availability and administrative coordination, and therefore unused hours cannot be refunded, credited, or transferred unless explicitly approved by Nanny’s & Granny’s in writing.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, logos, graphics, and design elements, is the property of Nanny’s & Granny’s and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our prior written consent.

6. Modifications to These Terms

Nanny’s & Granny’s reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Nanny’s & Granny’s operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
